FIFA World Ranking (Top 20) / June 2009

Right in time to the Start of the FIFA Confederations Cup 2009 in Southafrica the FIFA published the actual FIFA World Ranking. Serbia and the Ukraine climbed up to the TOP 20 whilst Cameroon and Bulgaria lost a little bit of ground an faces rank 21 and 23!

If we take a look to the participants of the Confed Cup 2009 they faces following places:

RED = Group A
BLUE = Group B

Spain – Rank 1
Italy – Rank 4
Brazil – Rank 5
USA – Rank 14
Egypt – Rank 40
Southafrica – Rank 72
Iraq – Rank 77
New Zealand – Rank 82

After the Confederations Cup which starts on June 14 with the game between Sout africa an Iraq in Johannesburg the World Ranking of July 1 will have a complete different ranking as well it will include the UEFA Qualifications games of next week.
