2009-07-01
Just like every summer the transfer carousel is also spinning this year. Between the 1st of july and the 31st of august 2009 the transfer period is opened. But some european clubs has taken their first transfers long befores this date.

Against all econimic developents on international stock exchanges there were some big transfers this year which burst all scales. Real Madrid could engage the portugues international player Cristiano Ronald for an amount of € 94.000.000,-- from Manchester United. His season salary is hawked by round about 13,5 million €, the contract was signed until 30th june 2015. The transfer replacement was fixe at a sum of 1 billion €.

To point the ambition of Real Madrid they signed also the brasilian international Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, also knwon as KAKA from AC Milan. The transfer sum for Kaka will be at 68 million euros and so Kaka will be the third most expensive player of all time, right behind Cristiano Ronaldo (2009) and Zinedine Zidane (2001 for 75 Millionen Euro from Juventus Turin to Real Madrid).

Also out of austrian sight the transfer period could bring some interesting club changes. Marko Arnautovic is probably one of austrians most talented players. He had his breakthrough at this season for the dutch club FC Twente Enschede. His change to FC Inter Milan is deemed to be fix, only the transfer fee has to be fixed between the clubs and could be between 8 and 13 millions. Arnautovic could be after his change the most expensive player of Ausria at all times, outdistance Martin Stranzl after his transfer for 4,5 millions in 2006 from VfB Stuttgar to Spartal Moskow.

But there is an other austrian player who could face this rank – Paul Scharner. The midfielder of Wigan Athletic is written on a wish list at some clubs like FC Fulham or FC Schalke 04. Paul Scharner signed at 2006 at Wigan for a fee 3,67 million Euro payed to SK Brann Bergen.
