Played five games in the third qualifing round of the UEFA Champions League. Games were very exciting. There has been a lot of goals and results were expected and more precisely in the playoffs for the Champions League teams of the last of which is also expected.
- Maccabi Haifa 4:3 Aktobe (first game 0:0)
The first game is played in Israel. Maccabi Haifa after a very exciting and tense game after 0:3 managed to return to victory, however unpleasant Kazakhstan team with 4:3.

- Sivasspor 3:1 Andrelecht (first game 0:5)

- Dinamo Zagreb 1:2 Salzburg (first game 1:1)

At the end of 1:1, and Sporting go in the playoffs because of the goals in the guests.
- Panathinaikos 3:0 Sparta Praha (first game 1:3)
After the second game Sparta Praha failed to place in the Champions League playoff. The Greek team was better again and last year in the third round of qualification.
After a few opportunities in the first half the host is just 45 minutes goal socring José Sarriegi led 1:0. After the goals came and half.
In the second half Panathinaikos showed that the better team and in the 54 minute Katsouranis has scored goal for 2:0. That is a domestic compensate the lost in the first game, and these results are passed on.
