Skiing: Austrian Skiing Legend Hermann Maier Retires

This past Tuesday, Skiing Icon Hermann Maier announced his retirement at the age of 36. He is generally considered to be one of the best Alpine Skiers of all time.

During his announcement he stated "I gave it a lot of thought but decided spontaneously that now is the best time for retirement." Nicknamed the "Herminator", his 14-year career is riddled with World Cup medals and Olympic Golds. Here is a brief list of his many accomplishments:
