Football, Romania, Liga I: Andrea Mardolini the new coach of CFR Cluj

After the trainer Tonio Conceicao has been dismissed from CFR Cluj on Sunday, his successor on the technical bench, Andrea Mardolini (IT, 49 years) has conducted today his first training on the technical bench of Romania`s last season champions.

Despite the fact that CFR Cluj is the leader of the romanian championship, followed by Steaua Bucuresti with the same amount of points (25p), club owner Arpad Paszkany decided it was needed a change on CFR`s tehnical bench and hopes that his team will be able to move away in the championship.

The new trainer of CFR Cluj stated that his primary objective is to win the championship. Furthermore Mardolini announced that he will bring a new physical preparatory and two second trainers from Italy at the club.

Mardolini chose to train the romanian team after some discussions with Trombetta and Bergodi, both former trainers of CFR Cluj with good results.
Mardolini will be paied €200.000 for the remaining season to train CFR Cluj.
