A win for Manchester United and a loss for Chelsea in Game week 15 tightened up the space at the top of the Premier League table.
After a promising start with gaining the lead in minute 7 against Manchester City, Chelsea wasn´t able to live up to the expectations following. Manchester City dominated the rest of the first half, evening the game already before the half time whistle. The second half was way more balanced with chances on both sides, but City was able to connect on a free-kick from 20 yards out, curling the ball right beyond Cech's reach.
The remaining efforts on both sides showed no results, ending the game 2:1 with Manchester city coming out on top.
Number 2 in the table, Manchester United had a better weekend, dominating their opponents from West Ham clearly. A 4:0 victory booked 3 points on their account, bringing them 2 points close to leader Chelsea.
