FIFA published today the official World Ranking list for March. This month, Razvan Lucescu`s team has made a leap from 36th place to 32 with 798 points, +24p compared with the ranking list for February. This ascension is at least odd, because Romania has lost the only game played in March 0-2 against Israel in a friendly game in Timisoara. After this triumph, Israel dropped 2 positions from 26 to 28!!!
In the same ranking list, Romania`s opponents in the qualification round for EC 2012 occupy the following positions: place 8 (France, 1.077p), place 47 (Bosnia, 642p), place 80 (Belarus, 404p), place 83 (Albania, 389p), and place 124 (Luxembourg, 198p).
