
USA coach Bob Bradley has announced that both
Oguchi Onyewu and
Jozy Altidore will be fit for Saturday's Group C opener against England.
Defender Onyewu sustained a patellar tendon injury 7 months ago and has not made any appearances with the international squad since. 20-year-old Altidore had physios concerned about an ankle injury and was forced to miss last weekend's friendly against Australia.
Bradley went on to say he has had help from several EPL bosses to prepare for this match, including
Sir Alex Ferguson. As a result, the American coach feels more than prepared for this historic fixture.
The match between England and the United States will take place on Saturday at 8:30 PM (CET) at
Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg.
