Football: International, Friendly International Matches 2009; Belgium v Slovenia

2009-02-10
Slovenian football team will play for spring round of qualifications on 11.February 2009 in Genk, where they will meet Belgian team on friendly match..Match will be played on stadium which name is from season 2007/08 Cristal Arena and it's 6th biggest in the country. Stadium accepts 24.604 people and has warming field. This is home stadium of KRC Genk team.

Match on Cristal Arena will begin on 11. february at 20.45, Slovenia has never played well friendly matches, but maybe this time will be better. After a long time Keks main trumps are playing in their clubs very important parts (Milivoj Novakovič, Dalibor Stevanovič, Zlatan Ljubljankič, Tonči Žlogar, which has scored some goals on Saturday for their teams) and they are in very good shape, what could show it against Belgian team. Belgian team has good and young team, which has shown their potencial last year on olympic games. Slowly they will overtake leading places in membership. Coach of home team Rene Vandereycken will try for the first time with Igor De Camarga, brazilian football player, which has finally got belgian citizenship. Kek will test variants for match against Czech in the end of March, there will debitate young defender of german team Nurnberg Dominic Maroh.
