Saturday's topgame show the big duel between
Manchester United and
Liverpool FC. This game is the last chance for Liverpool to seize to grab the championship to Anfield. 10 rounds before the end of the season the team of captain Steven Gerrard faces a deficit of 7 points to leader Manchester United, but they have 1 game in hand!
Liverpool started this year very strong into the championship, but during the last weeks they had some unexpected lost of poinst and so the lost the contact to leader Manchester and also the advance to follower Chelsea FC. The round of the last 16 at the Champions-League both teams were advanced to the next round without any problems. Manchester defeated Inter (0:0 and 2:0), Liverpool kicked out Real Madrid (1:0 and 4:0). So the next weeks could show us this big rivalgame on european stage.
