With an impressive run of twelve unbeaten matches champion Borussia Dortmund made it back to the top positions of German Bundesliga. When they host Hoffenheim on Saturday afternoon, they could even make it back to the top, just Dortmund couldn't defeat Hoffenheim the last four meetings.

Very strong performances from
Borussia Dortmund in their first match after the winter break, when won 5:1 in Hamburg last Sunday. Even without Mario Götze and goalkeeper Weidenfeller they dominated Hamburg with intoxicating high speed football. The last time they lost in Bundesliga was back in September, so their confidence is obviously gone up very high. In that form they are a serious contender in the title race again. Also at home Dortmund is pretty successful (6-1-1), scored 23:5 goals there so far. Mario Götze will be sidelined for at least six weeks.
No real surprise that the
TSG Hoffenheim didn't score again last Saturday when they played only 0:0 at home against Hannover, as they scored just seven goals in the last twelve Bundesliga appearances. More surprising is it that best scorer Ibisevic (5 goals) has sold to Stuttgart on Wednesday. There is quality in the squad and Hoffenheim can play attractive football, but at the moment the team clearly have a lack of confidence. They won three times away (3-0-6), but lost both games at top teams (0:2 Leverkusen, 1:3 Schalke). Two regular defenders won't be able to play due to injury and suspension (Compper, Vorsah).

Hoffenheim can do it better as it seems at the moment. But currently only their past successes in Dortmund speak for them. Dortmund in top form and full of confidence, so the home team is clear favourite.
