Borussia Dortmund's start in the spring season was absolutely perfect. Dortmund have won the previous three league matches and therewith they have replaced Bayern München as league leader. Dortmund's league results since the winter break: 5:1 at HSV, 3:1at home against 1899 Hoffenheim and 2:0 at 1. FC Nürnberg. On Tuesday they celebrated a 4:0 win in the DFB Cup at Holstein Kiel and therewith Dortmund advanced to the semi-finals. Manager Jürgen Klopp will miss the injured players Mario Götze, Sven Bender and Julian Koch.
As well as Dortmund also Bayer 04 Leverkusen is undefeated in the spring season. However, the four top teams are out of range because Leverkusen have won only the opener against FSV Mainz (3:2).
