After 9 exact pronostics out of 11 in the past 3 days, Livetipsportal feeds you with its advices for the 5 games taking place tonight: Red Wings@Blue Jackets, Penguins@Flyers, Devils@Hurricanes, Canucks@Blues, and Sharks@Ducks.
Columbus Blue Jackets – Detroit Red Wings
Series: Red Wings lead 2-0
With Chris Osgood retrieving his best level of play after a very poor regular season, the Jackets have absolutely no business in winning a game against the defending Champs, who outscored them 8-1 on the first two games.
Choice: Detroit Red Wings, with an odd of 2.10 at Expekt
Philadelphia Flyers – Pittsburgh Penguins
Series: Penguins lead 2-1
Philly played really well in game 3 and received a well needed support from its fans. If they can keep their play to the same level for tonight, they should tie the series. And they need to keep this level of play, because a loss would put them in extremly serious troubles. They've responded well in the previous game, so we can assume they'll do the same tonight.
Choice: Philadelphia Flyers, with an odd of 2.30 at Expekt
Carolina Hurricanes – New Jersey Devils
Series: Devils lead 2-1
After loosing at home in overtime in game 2, the Devils responded with an overtime win on the road in game 3 to re-take the control of the series. As a result, the Canes find themselves in a must win situation right now. Else they'd have to face elimination in the next game. This will be an extremly tight and interesting game, that should come down to the goalies play. Both Martin Brodeur and Cam Ward are solid and got nerves of steel, so it's hard to tell who will allow the one too many goal. I'd go for the Devils, who actually have the momentum of this series. Betting on a tie in regulation isn't a bad idea either, as the teams are really close and the odds for a tie really high. But i don't think there will be a third consecutive overtime game.
Choice: New Jersey Devils, with an odd of 2.85 at Bwin
St. Louis Blues – Vancouver Canucks
Series: Canucks lead 3-0
The first playoffs appearance of the Blues in 5 years should end up tonight, as they are facing elimination and will try to avoid to get swept at home by the Nucks. This St. Louis team showed impressive efforts all series-long, and really deserves a win as a reward for that. But the Canucks aren't lazy either, and they are a better team. Plus, the young stars of this Blues team have few to no experience in the playoffs, so it is highly doubtfull to see them rise in a game where they are facing elimination, which gives an additional edge to the more experienced Canucks team.
Choice: Vancouver Canucks, with an odd of 2.25 at Expekt
Anaheim Ducks – San Jose Sharks
Series: Ducks lead 2-0
The Ducks won twice on the road to take a commanding lead before coming back home. The Sharks have been the ghosts of what they've been in the regular season. As usual. Star forward Joe Thornton has been quiet as usual in the post-season, limited to just one assistance. Captain Patrick Marleau has simply zero point so far. And now the Ducks will benefit from home ice advantage to set their matchups, which will give them an easier opportunity to shutdown the Sharks offense. San Jose has more questions than answers and is in serious troubles, facing two must win games. On the other hand, Anaheim is full of confidence, get the momentum, and will play at home. For some unknown reason, the bookies are still putting the Sharks ahead, which still offers you some nice odds to bet on the Ducks.
Choice: Anaheim Ducks, with an odd of 2.70 at Bwin
