Football: International, WC 2010 Qualifier, Argentina vs. Brazil

2009-09-05
Argentina will face rivals Brazil for the first time with Maradonna as Manager. This is the fifteenth match of South America World Cup Qualification, and Argentina are sitting 4th in the table. Maradonna must win this not only because of his national icon status, but also because they are one place from qualifying for World Cup 2010. Messi, Tevez, and Aguero will link up well to produce many goals. They will be motivated to perform their very best for a Manager who is, to say the least, a national treasure.

Brazil are top of the Qualifying table and have been on a great run lately, not losing in 17 games, and winning their last 9. The attacking power of Brazil cannot be downplayed. Even if coach Dunga adopts a defensive formation, the quality of players like Kaka and Robinho effectively make it an attacking posture. Both teams will play with high motivation here and expect to see an exciting game with many goals.
