FC Barcelona, spanish champion of the season 2008/09, will welcome
Atletico Madrid in the Camp Nou stadium. Especially for Atletico this game will be very important, because in their first two league games they only won one point.
In the beginning of every new season of the Primera Division, people say, that Atletico Madrid is able to win the spanish title, although 13 years passed now from their last victory. This season the red-white team started very bad. They lost their first league game with the FC Malaga 3:0 (away game) and tied in the Vicente Calderon stadium with Racing Santander 1:1. The only goal in two games for Atletico Madrid scored midfielder Jose Manuel Jurado. Still without succes are Atleticos – normally very good – forwards, Diego Forlan and Sergio Agüero.
FC Barcelona, on the other hand, won its first two league games. Sporting Gijon they beat in the Camp Nou 3:0 and FC Getafe in an away game 0:2. New forward superstar of the catalan team, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, scored one goal per match, what means that at the moment he is the most effective goalgetter of FC Barcelona. Lionel Messi scored his first goal of this years season in the Getafe game.
