The first phase of championship in Groups A, B and C has been completed and we are waiting for the second team advancing from group D.
A big quarterfinal in which will play Portugal and Germany. Portugal and Netherlands are showing the most beautiful footbal on EURO by now. Their performance is not led just by fantastic players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Deco or Simao, but it's a great work of the whole team. According to all that we have seen in their matches excluding last match against Switzerland, where 7 players from standard starting eleven have not played, we can say that Portugal is favourite in this match and one of the main favourites to win title.
On the other hand Germany is a disappointment for many people, including bookies. After the victory and defeat, in the third round they had to win against the host Austria. They suceed by fantastic goal from Michael Balack. In this match Germany will most probably be weakened, without the coach Joachim Löw (decision today), and the two players, Frings and Podolski. Frings has a broken rib and probably will not play, Podolski have also some problems with injury.
I think that the match will decide Cristiano Ronaldo with his superior play.
