After a short week with a cup rpund on tuesday and wednesday the next weeekend brings round 7 of the 2009/10 1. Bundesliga season. Besides the game between leader HSV and topfavourite Bayern München there is one of the most important derbies of europe, the 'Revierderby' between Dortmund and Schalke!
BV Borussia Dortmund vs FC Schalke 04

After a hard deafeat in round 5 against Bayern München (1:5) Dortmund could take one point from Hannover with a 1:1 draw. Dortmund was a long time the better team but due to their missed chances they have to share the points.
Schalke lost against the reigning champion VfL Wolfsburg after a double strike of Edin Dzeko with 1:2. Benedkt Höwedes tied the score a few minutes to the end but just a minute later Dzeko scored his second goal this evening for the 2:1 victory.

SV Werder Bremen vs FSV Mainz 05

The topgame of this week sees leader Hamburger SV hosting topfaovourite Bayern München. HSV had to take a hard defeat in the UEFA European League against SK Rapid Vienna by losing with 3:0. In the league HSV won 1 point with a 1:1 in Frankfurt against Eintracht after an early goal of Ze Roberto.
Bayern München won last week at the Champions League against Maccabi Haifa with 3:0 followed by a win against 1. FC Nürnberg at the opening of this years Oktoberfest.
