In the away game the Bleus won only 1:0 after a goal by André Pierre Gignac, the strong player of Toulouse. That's why they want to do a better job and play more efficiently this time.

If they want to fix definitely the second place in this group 7, which will allow them to start in the playoff games, the french players have to reach three points. Certainly only the winners of the preliminary rounds will qualify directly for the finals next year.

The French view the game and the adversary with respect. And they don't look at the match of Serbia - the leader, who has four points more. They would have little chances for the first place, if Romania wins in Belgrade. But the players of coach Raymond Domenech have only one target: That's to win on Saturday. Thierry Henry, the captain of the team of France and the striker of Barcelona, said in the sports newspaper "L'équipe": "It won't be easy. The Faroe Islands didn't lose one game with more than two goals difference since the qualification has started."
