Uruguay day will be directly qualificated for the World Cup in South Africa. The problem for
Argentina will be that Uruguay can do the same with a victory over the Albiceleste.
Argentina played a very bad qualification, what for they are still not qualified (like Brasil, Paraguay and Chile). Worse, in case of a loss in Montevideo and a victory of Ecuador over Chile, Argentina will be at the sixth qualification place. This would mean, that not even the play-off will be possible for them.
At the moment the team of manager Diego Maradona is on the fourth place of the South American Qualification Group, just one point in front of Uruguay and two points in front of Ecuador. For that, wednesday will be the day of truth for the superstars Lionel Messi, Sergio Agüero and Carlos Tevez. A draw in Montevideo will be enough for the play-off, but for sure, the Albiceleste wants to win for a direct qualification.
