The 9th day of Serie A just finished (with the 2-1 victory of AC Milan against Chievo) this wednesday there's already the next turn, with another "classico" of italian football:
Napoli - Milan, wednesday evening at the
San Paolo stadium in Naples.
Napoli seems to be reborn: After the victory in Bologna this sunday the team of
Walter Mazzarri has managed to beat
Fiorentina in Florence, the first away victory of Napoli since almost a year (since 364 days to be precise...)!
The victory has been obtained by another last minute goal of
Christian Maggio, after his teammate
Quagliarella had already failed his penalty against Fiorentina keeper Frey. Now Napoli has made a jump to the ninth place and some people are already speaking of a place in the european competitions ... Of course their coach Mazzarri doesn't want to hear none of this, for him the thing that counts is the next game, in this case the one against Milan.
It will be a very interesting game considering that the rossoneri team of brasilian coach Leonardo is doing extremely well in the moment and they are full of self confidence after the two victories against Real Madrid at Bernabeu and against Chievo in Verona (thanks to two goals by Nesta). Milan is playing a spectacular kind of football in the moment, but against Chievo they also showed some week points, especially in the defense. It's therefore not sure if they will be able to stop Napoli...
Napoli - AC Milan
Wednesday 28 October 2009
kick off 7:45 p.m.
Stadio San Paolo It#s hard to say who will win this game - Milan certainly is the favorite but considering the last results of Napoli and keeping in mind the atmosphere of a sold out San Paolo stadium it is possible that the blues might beat Milan as well. I will therefore only make a tip about the
result after the first half, and considering that against Chievo and Real Milan has not had a very good start, after the first half the result will still be
x, the best odd is at
