At the 1st leg on last saturday in Athens Greece could not satisfy the 40.000 fans at the Olympique Stadium. The outcome of an uninspired appearance was a goalless draw against the Ukraine. The guest team could show a very good tactical achievement but could not show any dangerous action in front of the greek goal.
The best chance beside a denied goal of Theofanis Gekas at the first half was a great header of Sotirios Kyrgiakos during the injury time. But this header was not good enough to bring a deciding goal for Greece.
But at the 2nd leg there were still a chances for Greece to quailfy for the WC 2010 in South Africa but the Ukraine is deemed to be the favourite for the qualification.
My tipp: I expect that the Ukraine will win at home against Greece. The best odd for a home victory you will find at Tipico with 1,85!
