The 13th round of the German
Bundesliga will be completed on Saturday with the fixture between
Hamburger SV and
VfL Bochum. Hamburg faces rank 3 and has lost only 1 league game this season, while VfL Bochum is second last and therewith on a relegation place. Anything but a HSV win would be a big surprise.
6 wins, 5 draws and 1 defeat. That´s the statistic of Hamburg in the running Bundesliga season. So they are third in the league table behind Bayer Leverkusen and Werder Bremen. Hamburger SV received the only defeat in round 11 in the home game against underdog Borussia Mönchengladbach (2-3). Last round they played 2-2 at Hannover. Altogether Labbadia´s side is since four games without a win (3 draws, 1 defeat). In the home game against VfL Bochum coach Bruno Labbadia will have to pass on Alex Silva, Romeo Castelen, Collin Benjamin, Paolo Guerrero and Mladen Petric.
For VfL Bochum the Bundesliga season 2009/10 did not run by wish. At the moment they are with 8 points (2 wins, 2 draws, 8 defeats) on a relegation place. Also the new Bochum coach Heiko Herrlich could not stop the negative run so far. Under coach Herrlich they lost the last two league games against Eintracht Frankfurt and SC Freiburg in each case 1-2. Altogether Bochum is since 5 league games without a win (1 draw, 4 defeats). From their 6 away games 5 got lost. For the match against HSV coach Heiko Herrlich will miss Patrick Fabian, Philipp Bönig and Kevin Vogt.
