One of the most exciting games of this week's Champions League is the italian - german duel between Juventus and Bayern Munich, tuesday evening at the Stadio Olimpico. It's the game that decides about who will pass on to the next round in Group A, where Juve is on the 2nd place (behind the already qualified leader Bordeaux), with only one point ahead of Luis Van Gaal's Bayern Munich.

In the Serie A Juventus has beaten Inter this weekend in a really spectacular game at the Olimpico, thanks to a beautiful goal by Marchisio. The bianconeri are now back in the race for the scudetto and are also optimistic for the match against the germans. If the team of Ciro Ferrara is able to play with the same spirit like against Inter, there shouldn't be too many problems even against Bayern. 

Juve has to pay attention though, as Bayern seems to be getting stronger over the last weeks.In the Bundesliga they have beaten Moenchengladbach 2-1 this weekend and are already on the third place. Some weeks ago the team seemed irrecognizable and the days of their coach Luis Van Gaal seemed to be finished, but now their situation has gradually improved, so that they can look to the near future with more optimism. Of course, an elimination from the Champions League already in the group phase wouldn't be a nice christmas present for the club and their president Uli Hoeness. Of course, in order to pass on to the next round they absolutely have to beat Juve, let's see if they are able to do so...
