Thursday, the 17th of december, at 7 p.m., the Valencia Football Club will face the second time the FC Genoa 1893 in the Group B of the UEFA Europa League. That game will be a very interesting one, because in Group B, there are still three teams – Valencia, Genoa and Lille – with chances to qualify for the next phase of the UEFA Europa League.
For Valencia – with nine points the leader of Group B – a draw would be enough to qualify for sure, while the FC Genoa 1983 – with seven points (like Lille) and the third place of Group B – would have to win to qualify for sure. The first game between Valencia and the FC Genoa, the team of manager Unai Emery won 3:2 in the Mestalla stadium.
In case, that OSC Lille loses it's home game against Slavia Praha, even a defeat would be enough to qualify. We will see, if David Villa and Co. will play with full force in Italy.
