This weekend the last matchday in 2009 will be played in Spains Primera Division. The most interesting game seems to be the duell between
Deportivo La Coruñ
a, on the sixth place of the spanish league and
Valencia CF, fourth of the Primera Division.
The match takes place Sunday, the 20th of december at 9 p.m. in the Riazor Stadium.
Deportivo La Coruña made 26 points in fourteen games (eight victories, two draws and four defeats). At home, the team of manager Miguel Angel Lotina doesn't play that well. With four victories, one draw and two defeats, Depor would only be on the eighth place of the Primera Division. In total, Deportivo la Coruña scored 19 goals in the Primera Division this season and received 16. No player of Depor scored more than two goals untill now in the spanish league.
On the other hand, Valencia, fourth of the spanish league, plays very good in their away games. In seven games they made eighteen points (six victories, one defeat). If only the away games would count, the team of manager Unay Emery would be on the second place of the table (with the same amount of points, but one game less than the FC Barcelona). Of their fourteen games now played, Valencia scored 27 goals (fifteen in their away games) and received 16 (seven in the away games). Thirteen of these 27 goals striked David Villa, one of the three most effective strikers in the spanish league (next to Ibrahimovic and Messi).
I think a very hard game is awaiting Deportivo La Coruña.
