As often happens the 21st round of the German Bundesliga offers a classic example of David vs. Goliath, or more specifically Bayer Leverkusen challenges VfL Bochum.
At first glance, the relegation threat to the eternal underdog VfL Bochum seems somewhat dispelled. Currently the distance to 16th league position amounts to four points at least. At the end of the season the 16th placed team has to play against third of the 2nd Bundesliga. For the last four Bundesliga matches the "Revierklub" remained unbeaten and thereby gathered eight points. This statistic is somewhat dampened by the fact that the wait is now up to seven games, when the Westphalians won in front of their home crowd.
It's kind of strange, with what serenity the Leverkusen every time went one better, when the competition from Munich and Gelsenkirchen won their own games. The table leaders are still nothing to debt in the Bundesliga and prolonged an impressive series of 20 unbeaten games on last weekend (3:1 against SC Freiburg). Back on board is the right-fullback Gonzalo Castro, recovering from a broken cheekbone.
