The last season Nürnberg still played in the UEFA-Cup and in the 1st German Bundesliga. After the 0:2-defeat on the last matchday against Schalke 04 Nürnberg was certain as a relegated team. Hence, the aim for this season is called: promotion into the 1st league again.
