Franz Horr Stadion, Vienna
Austria Vienna starts very good prepared to the spring. After a 2 week training camp at the 'Home of Football' in Marbella Austria could satisfy at the preolympic tournament in Sotchi (RUS). First they could win against BATE Borisov (BLR) with 13:12 after penalties (1:1 after 90minutes) in the semi-final and the following final ended with a 2:0 victory of Victoria Pilsen (CZE). At the home championship Austria paused as third ranked team with a deficit of 5 points to leader SK Rapid Wien and 3 points to Red Bull Salzburg.
On the other side there is with the KSV a team which still fights with the relegation. At the moment they face rank 9 with 18 points out of 19 rounds and a bonus of 11 points to FC Kärnten and the relegation rank. But the danger is still there since the 3 point rule fastens up a comback for Kärnten. The best example for this is SV Ried - during the 2002/03 season they had a bonus of 12 points after 27 rounds and faced rank 5 but at the end of the season they had to go to the second league.
Duels of the season 2009/10:
28.10.2009 - Kapfenberger SV vs FK Austria Wien 1:0
02.08.2009 - FK Austria Wien vs Kapfenberger SV 3:0
My tipp: I guess that Austria Wien will seize their good draw (3 home games during the first 4 rounds) and will win against KSV Superfund with at least 2 goals difference. Best odd for a handicap-victory you will find at BET365 with 1,73!
