On Sunday evening, the Girondins de Bordeaux will receive the AS Saint Etienne in the 24th round of the Ligue 1. This match is a great historical hit in the French football, beause it will be the 48th time after the second world war that the club bordelais and the Stéphanois are playing at Gironde. The guys of coach Laurent Blanc are the favorits - they are on the top of the ranking and they have more quality, especially in the offensive.

The Bordelais want to do a better job, as they did in the French Cup. On Wednesday they lost 0:2 against Monaco. "It is clear, that it would have been profitable, if we had scored the first goal. Monaco merit the victory, we have to be conscious of this", said Laurent Blanc after the game.
