Thursday evening AS Roma will receive the greek team of Panathinaikos Athens in the return game of the round of 32 of Europa League. 

The team of Claudio Ranieri has to catch up the 2-3 of the first game, therefore for the giallorossi a victory is the only thing that counts. In the Serie A things are going in the right direction for Roma: they have won the last 7 games and are already on the 2nd place at only 5 points distance to Inter.  Of course no one wants to talk about the scudetto for the moment, but it seems to be a realistic goal. 
It seems that AS Roma  have made their comeback amongst the big teams of the Serie A, but still the game of thursday will be very difficult, even more so as the giallorossi will have to do without Luca Toni and Francesco Totti who are still not in the conditions to play.

Panathinaikos Athens are currently leading the greek championship, but they have lost their last two games, the last one with 1-2 against their rivals of Paok Saloniki. A bitter defeat which the greens will certainly try to compensate with a success against Roma. Anyway all they need is a draw to continue their european adventure.
