One of the most interesting games of this
Serie A weekend will be the duel between
Napoli and
Roma, sunday afternoon at Naples'
San Paolo stadium.
After the elimination from
Europa League (thanks to a 6 minutes black out against
Panathinaikos) the team of
Claudio Ranieri can now concentrate fully on the championship. This might at least be a small advantage compared to their direct rivals
Inter who are, at least for the moment, still playing
Champions League (even if its not sure for how long, the 2-1 at San Siro against
Chelsea not being a too comfy advantage). Sunday afternoon however the giallorossi will have to transform all their anger into power and self-confidence, as they will have to play Napoli at the San Paolo, traditionally a very hot game for Roma.
Roma has won the first game by 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico, in the table the romans are on the third place only 5 points behind Inter.
Napoli are on the 5th place only one point behind Juventus. Of course Roma is out of reach for the blues, as they have 10 points more, but with a victory Napoli could make this distance a bit smaller. For Roma the game will be even more difficult, as they will have to play without
Luca Toni and
Francesco Totti.

Stadio San Paolo, Napoli
Our tip:In the championship Roma was very strong in the last games, but surely the defeat against Panathinaikos has left some traces. We'll see how the giallorossi will react to this unexpected elimination, in my opinion Roma will be able to achieve a draw even without Totti and Toni.
