The upcoming 26th round of the German Bundesliga offers the exciting ‘Revier-Derby' between VfL Bochum and Borussia Dortmund.
The defeat on last Saturday against the titler holder VfL Wolfsburg was harsh. A 1:4-debacle visualized Bochum that currently a place in the lower mid-table is the limit. As early as this weekend has the squad of coach Heiko Herrlich the opportunity to pursue redress. A victory in the next duel against Borussia Dortmund has a particularly high priority for fans and club. In the ‘Revier Championship' (consisting of the games against Dortmund and Schalke 04), VfL scored only one point at the moment.
After the bitter derby defeat against arch-rivals from the Gelsenkirchen, the Klopp-team gave thanks to a clear 3:0-victory in a duel with Moenchengladbach the right answer. However, the Borussia should not rest on their laurels. In the second half of the season the Westphalians gathered in little harvest. The balance of the last few weeks revealed rather underwhelming: in six matches the European Cup winners of 1997 conceded four defeats. On the 10th March 2007 was the last time, when the BVB lost in Bochum (0:2).
