If West Ham United put up a tough front against Chelsea on Saturday, the Gunners will have a good chance to go top of the table. With an away match against bottom feeders Hull City, Arsenal are likely to get all 3 points. Their last match will have given the Gunners inspiration to perform well against a weaker team as they beat FC Porto 5-0 at home this past Wednesday. Wenger will be worried about his teams performance on the road, however. Arsenal have only won once in their last 5 road matches in all competitions. Cesc Fabregas is the main injury concern as he missed Tuesdays fixture against Porto with a hamstring injury. Despite this, Arsenals quality should be enough to overcome the Tigers.
Phil Brown is really testing the patience of Hull Citys faithful. Hull have only one once in 13 Premier League matches and are now second to last in the table. A draw would get them out of relegation trouble, however, and the Tigers will look to last seasons upset of the London giants for inspiration. Last seasons September fixture saw a newly promoted Hull City shock England with a string of good results, including a 2-1 away victory over the Gunners. Brown will be without the services of Anthony Gardner, Ian Ashbee and Stephen Hunt.
Although Hull will try their best to stop the Arsenal juggernaut, the Gunners simply have too much class and motivation to be kept from scoring for too long.
