Here's another classic of italian
calcio:
Napoli - Juventus, thursday evening at the mythic
San Paolo stadium in Naples (kick off at 08:45 p.m.).
This time of course it will also be the duel between two teams who are not yet having the success that they would have imagined before the season (Juve is on the 6th, Napoli on the 8th place in the Serie A). Especially for
Zaccheroni 's Juventus the last weeks haven't been too fortunate, with the terrible elimination against
Fulham, followed by racist insults from Juve's tifosi against
Zebina, and certainly last weekend's defeat against Sampdoria (0-1 thanks to an error of substitute goalkeeper
Chimenti) hasn't made things more easy for the bianconeri. What's more the poor Chimenti has even broken his hand after taking out his anger on an innocent table after the game... At San Paolo we'll therefore see the comeback of austrian goalkeeper
Alexander Manninger, who has already made some excellent games for Juve in the past.
Also for Napoli and their coach
Walter Mazzarri the last games could have gone better, but sunday's draw at San Siro (with Napoli leading 1-0 and dominating the first half) against Milan certainly gives some hope to
Hamsik,
Quagliarella & co. Another game like that will surely be enough to beat, or at least to put into great difficulties a Juve team that is completely out of track at the moment.
The facts:Napoli vs Juventus
Thu 25 march 2010
kick-off 08:45 p.m.
Stadio San Paolo, Napoli
Our tip:For Juve this game is (yet another) last chance, but Napoli won't make any presents to the bianconeri. I think the southern italians are strong enough to beat Juve, therefore
my tip is
1, home victory for Napoli, the
