This weekend matchday 33 will be played in Spains Primera Division. For that reason, Real Madrid will welcome the
Valencia CF. The game will happen Sunday, the 18th of april, at 9 p.m. in the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. Without a doubt, this match - second against third of the Primera Division - will be the most interesting of the weekend.
Real Madrid is on the second place of the Primera Division (twenty six victories, two draws, four defeats - 77 points). Last matchday, the team of manager Manuel Pellegrini won 1:2 against UD Almeria in an away game. The two goals were scored by Rafael van der Vaart and Cristiano Ronaldo. Untill now, Real Madrid won all of it's sixteen home games of the season 2009/2010, except the clasico, which they lost (0:2; 10 de abril 2010). Now, Real Madrid has to win all of their games and hope that Barcelona looses points, if they want to be champion. To be honest, the chances for that seem very little.
The Valencia CF finds itself on the third place of the Primera Division (seventeen victories, eight draws, seven defeats - 59 points). The team of manger Unai Emery won seven of their away games, tied three and lost six - 24 points (23 goals scored, 24 goals received). Last weekend, Valencia won 2:0 against the Athletic Club Bilbao in the Mestalla Stadium - the goals were scored by David Villa. With a victory, Valencia would end the season hardly for sureon the third place, which is very important to play in the Chamions League (and avoid the Qualifcation Round).
Their first match of the season 2009/2010 Real Madrid won 2:3 against the Valencia CF in an away-game. (12th of december 2009).
