The
Hamburger SV will play the first semi-final at home against
Fulham FC. For Fulham a big step forward to the Euro-League Final which they could reach for the first time in club history. But also Hamburg looks forward to the final because it´s set in Hamburg and it would be a great feeling for the team and also the fans if they could play the final in their home-stadium.

The Hamburger SV challenged last round Standard Liege and beat them with the final score 5-2. It was an easy victory for the HSV and so the facing Fulham FC in the semi-finals of the UEFA-Europe-League. Mladen Petric´ a striker from the HSV says that the prospect of a showpiece final in front of their own supporters is tantalizingly close. He also knows that this chance might be an extra pressure but it´s a good pressure. They want to show Europe that they are able to win the Europe-League in front of their own fans.
For Fulham it could be one of the most important victory´s in club history. The club from head coach Roy Hodgson were never this close to an international Trophy. It would be the biggest success for Fulham is a club and also for all they Supporters who waited so long for an International Cup to win. For Fulham speaks that they can easily change the way they are playing. So everything is possible even against the Hamburger SV.
