Hungary hosts
Germany in an
international friendly match at the Ferenc Puskás Stadium of Budapest. For Germany it´s the second last text match before the start of the

In contrast to Germany the Hungarian team are not qualified for the FIFA World Cup. Hungary finished their group behind Denmark, Portugal and Sweden on rank 4. At the end they were three points behind Portugal and the play-offs. Altogether the Hungarian have won five of their ten qualification games (5 wins, 1 draw, 4 losses). Hungary have also won just two of their five home matches (2-1-2). The only international match in this year, a friendly game at home against Russia, ended with a 1:1 draw. The goal for Hungary scored Vilmos Vanczak.
Germany faces at the FIFA World Cup 2010 in Group D on Australia, Ghana and Serbia. The DFB team will be the favourite in this group and should advance normally to the round of 16. Germany have lost no qualification game (8 wins, 2 draws) and finished their group as winner. The duo Miroslav Klose and Lukas Podolski scored together 13 of 26 qualification goals.
