The second game in
Group B during the
FIFA World Cup 2010 in
South Africa is the game between
Argentina and
Nigeria. The match takes place in the
Ellis Park Stadium at Johannesburg on the 12 of June. The World Champion of 1978 and 1986 from Argentina has some of the best international players while the team of Nigeria is strong in the collective, but without superstars.
The national team from Argentina is always a favourite in the World Cup but since Diego Maradona is coaching the team they have some problems. While Messi is always having a good performance in Barcelona he isn't able to reach the same level in the national team. The best part of the team is the offensive because with Milito, Messi, Agüero and Teves they got some of the best strikers in Europe.
The national team of Nigeria, also known as the "Super Eagles", made a good job in the qualifying rounds because they won both rounds without a lose. One of the best players from Nigeria John Obi Mikel is still injured so he can't help his team during the World Cup. The preparation games against Saudi-Arabia and Columbia brought just two 0:0 drawn.
