The first game in
Group B during the
Fifa World Cup 2010 in
South Africa is the match between the
Republic Korea and
Greece. It will be played in the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium at Port Elizabeth on the 12 of June. It is the second participation of the national team from Greece for the World Cup. For the Republic of Korea this World Cup is actually the 8th participation and they want to come over the group stage as in 2002.
The team from the Republic Korea was very good in the qualifying stages because they won both groups without a loose. The best player form coach Jung-Moo Huh is the midfielder from Manchester United, Park Ji-Sung. He scored the goals in 2002 and also in 2006 for his team. The last friendly game was against Spain, were the champion of Europe was able to win with 1:0.
Also the team from Greece played a good qualifying round, just the team from Switzerland was better. But after the qualifying round the team from Otto Rehagel lost both friendly games against Columbia and Senegal with 0:2. Also the 2:2 drawn against Korea DPR wasn't a good game.
