The opener of group H of the Worldcup 2010 will be held on June 16. The afternoon game brings the duel between Spain and the team - coached by Ottmar Hitzfeld - of Siwtzerland. Both nations could win their UEFA Qualifier Groups but Spain shows an amazing qualification when the won 10 out of 10 games.
Spain played 4 International Friendlies to prepare for the WC 2010 and could win all of these games. In March they faced France in Paris (2:0) followed by last week's Friendlies against Saudi-Arabia (3:2) and Sout Corea (1:0). The last game Spain played on June 8 against Poland when Spain won at home with 6:0 (Goals:
David Villa, Silva, Alonso, Fabregas, Torres, Pedro). Switzerland tested in 3 International Friendlies and couldn't win one of these tests. Therefore Switzerland and Italy are the only two teams which are travelling without a win to South Africa to the Worldcup. In March Switzerland lost against Uruguay with 1:3, last week 0:1 versus Costa Rica and a draw (1:1) against Italy. But Coach Ottmar Hitzfeld was not unhappy with the last game and looks forward to a great torunament for his team.
