Group D: Serbia versus Ghana

Football - World Cup 2010 - 2010-06-13
Match Preview

The second Game in Group D is Serbia against Ghana. The Serbs won their group with 22 Points and get 1 point more than France which qualified on second place. Serbia has with Dejan Stankovic a Player who won the Champions-League-Final this year with Inter Mailand. He is also Serbians Team Captain and a man with a lot of experience which is very important for a big tournament like a World Cup. Another man to watch will be Zoran Tosic. The young Serbian midfielder is one of the most important players in the team of Coach Radomir Antic.

For Ghana it is the second attendance at the Fifa World Cup, but the fans have big prospects. Ghana was the first African team which qualified themselves for the world cup. And they were also the only African team which could reach the round of the last sixteen at the Fifa World-Cup in Germany. Ghana's coach Milovan Rajevac is from Serbia. That could be an advantage, because he knows his compatriots very well.

The Game is set in Tshwane/Pretoria. Kick of is at 4:00 pm In the Lotus Verfeld Stadium.
