The second game in
group E of the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa presents a duel between African representative
Cameroon and
Denmark. For both teams losing is forbidden because each Denmark (0:2 against the Netherlands) and Cameroon (0:1 against Japan) drew in the first game of group the short straw.
Denmark had been able to compete against the powerful play of the Dutchman long time, only the attacking game looked a little stolid.
Nicklas Bendtner in attack ploughed more or less a lonely furrow. Cameroon disappointed against even not stronger Japanese on all lines. For a surprise was team boss Paul Le Guen as he gave preference to Souleymanou Hamidou in goal against
Carlos Kameni.

While the Danes probably calculated with a defeat against the Netherlands, already the alarm bells are ringing within Cameroon side after the unexpected opening loss. The question is whether coach Paul Le Guen gives back his veteran Rigobert Song the confidence as a defense chief. The game is in charge of Jorge Larrionda from Uruguay.
Cameroon and Denmark will meet for the first time in their national team history.
To the environment of Cameroon, it shouldn’t be ordered for the best. On the outer side, the Danes seem to keep harmony and hierarchy in the squad. I bet on a win for Denmark.
