After two games Australia is on the fourth position in Group D. Last game they played 1:1 against Ghana. The "Socceroos" took after 12 minutes the lead. Bret Homan scored the opening goal in this game. A few minutes later, in the 25 minute Harold Kewell was send off after he played the ball with his hand. Now Australia needs 3 points in the last game to keep the chance for the round of the last 16 alive.
After Serbia lost their opening game against Ghana no one believed in the chance against Germany. But the team from Radomir Antic let the miracle come true. Serbia beat Germany 1:0 and has all possibilities to reach the round of the last 16. The Hero of the game against Germany was Keeper Vladimir Stojkovic who saved Podolskis penalty.
