The second match on the first game day of the
Round of 16 during the FIFA world cup 2010 in South Africa brings the game between
Ghana and
USA. The game starts at 8:30 pm on 26 of June in the Royal Bafokeng Stadium at Rustenburg. It was a surprise that the national team from America was able to win group C and now they play against Ghana and not Germany. Ghana finally finished the group stage on the second place and they are the last team from Africa in the round of 16.
The US-boys won their last game against Algeria curtly with 1:0. With that victory the finished the group stage on the first place. With the referees the Americans got the most problems because against Slovenia the referee didn't accept a regular goal. Also against Algeria the referee didn't accepted a regular goal but this time it wasn't deciding.
The team from Ghana lost their last game against Germany but they made a good performance during the group stage. They were able to win the game against Serbia (1:0) and played drawn against Australia (1:1). Now they are the last team from the African continent and I am sure that the most people will support the team from Ghana during this game.

The team from America was abele to reach the round of 16 without a lost game. If their regular goals were accepted their advance to England would be much higher. The national team from Ghana lost their last game against Germany but they showed us a good performance. They got some very good players who were very strong in technical things like Asamoah Gyan or Kevin Prince Boateng.
