Since nine years the FC Sion waits now to beat the FC Zurich. On Saturday they will get a new chance when they meet at the Letzigrund.
After a disappointing pre-season the FC Zurich has improved their squad well and belongs to the top teams of the Swiss Super League again. Despite of a good game they lost their first match 2:3 at the champions FC Basel, but then had no problems when easily won the local derby against Grasshopper Zurich 2:0 last Sunday. Especially the defence around the Portuguese Jorge Teixeira did well for Zurich, who has won the title three times in the last five seasons.
Sion has improved their team in all parts and is now something like the dark horse of the Super League. They won their first match at Bellinzona 2:0 and then unluckily lost at home to FC Basel by a goal in injury time. Last season they won only three of their 18 away games and haven't won against FC Zurich since 22 matches.
