In case the unbeaten
FC Thun defeats
Grasshopper Zurich on Sunday afternoon, they can establish at the top end of
Swiss Super League.
An excellent start into the new season had the promoted FC Thun. In their first match back to Super League they got the equalizer from favoured Young Boys Bern not until the 94th minute. Last Sunday they turned a 0:2 deficit into a sensational 3:2 win at Xamax Neuchatel. Coach Murat Yakin leads a team based on native players and will send them with a proper dose confidence into their second home match.
For Grasshopper Zurich the start of the season wasn't as good. After they finished third in the pre-season, they now couldn't beat Xamax at home and got a painful 0:2 defeat from FC Zurich last Sunday. They had to release six of their best players before the start of the season and try to replace them with trainees now. Especially up front they have problems, where they just scored one goal in two games so far.
