After a perfect start into the season the title holder
FC Basel is once again clear favourite at
Bellinzona on Saturday evening.
Surprisingly AC Bellinzona celebrated their first points of the season when beaten Young Boys Bern 2:1 last Saturday. Their with nine Italians reinforced squad is one of the weakest in the Swiss Super League, so they lost their first matches against Sion (0:2) and St.Gallen (2:3). The only win against Basel took place in 1992.
Basel started with three wins into the championship and just went easily through the third round of Champions League qualification. The achievement of the Champions League obtains first priority at the moment, so coach Thorsten Fink rested several players in the last match against St.Gallen (3:0). He will probably practice the squad rotation system in Bellinzona again, as he has enough quality in his team.

Squad rotation and two recent midweek matches do not change anything on the clear dominance of the Swiss champion. Everything else as a Basel win would be a surprise.
