When
Denmark plays
Germany in a friendly on Wednesday, many players we could recently watch at the World Cup, will not be on the pitch.
Denmarks coach Morten Olsen has nominated ten new players after their disappointing group stage elimination in South Africa. Tomasson, Kahlenberg, Jensen, Jörgensen, Bendther and Grönkjaer (retired) will not play, but Olsen will still have quite a decent team. Experienced players like Christian Poulsen (Juventus), Agger (Liverpool) or Rommedahl (Olympiakos) will be on the field.
Germany will play without almost all first-team regular players that got to the semi final at the World Cup. In regard to the difficult qualification of the German Under-21 team, coach Joachim Löw will also forego several younger players. Germany arrives with a "B-team", but even so, their frame is not the worst (Neuer, Boateng, Hitzlsberger, Marin, Gomez). Löw declared that he will play all 17 players, so this match is a great chance for them to recommend.
