The top favourite of the new
2.Bundesliga season, Hertha BSC Berlin, will open against RW Oberhausen in the Olympic-Stadium on Friday evening.
Despite many players have left Hertha Berlin after their relegation, several players of their Bundesliga squad stayed in Berlin. They were even improved with strong players like Rob Friend (M'gladbach) oder Christian Lell (Bayern). Hertha has a strong technical team, that is clear favourite in this years 2.Bundesliga season. In their first match Hertha won in Cup 2:0 at SC Pfullendorf last Saturday.
Rot Weiß Oberhausen is one of the poorest clubs in the 2.Bundesliga, but they have a tough, physical team that has shown that they belong in this Division last season. They haven't changed much on their squad, so they will not need much time to find together. Oberhausen lost their first match in Cup last Saturday when they got beaten 0:1 by 5th Division team Viktoria Hamburg.
