2nd Round: Everton FC -Wolverhampton Wanderers

Football - England - Premier League - 2010-08-21
Match preview
Wolves began their campaign on a good note and will try to build on that while visiting Everton at Goodison Park. Wolverhampton were fancied to win against Stoke City and had a strong start, going up 2 goals in the first half before Abdoulaye Faye got one back in the 55'. The coach and squad will believe they can get at least a point at Goodison, especially after Everton failed to impress against Blackburn last week.

At first glance it would appear that Everton got off on the wrong foot with the 1-0 away loss to Blackburn Rovers, but the Toffees played a hard-fought match and were unlucky to come up empty handed. David Moyes should field a similar side to last weekend and hope the support of the fans will help them get over early-season jitters.

Betting tip/prediction
Wolves got off to a strong start with their win over Stoke but Everton struggled to gel while on the road in Blackburn. I don't think the Toffees will be able to turn it around so quickly and believe this will be a tightly contested match, just like last year's. Draw no Bet or outright win for Everton is an option, but whatever the result we shouldn't see too many goals at Goodison.

Tip: Under -2.5 goals
